I only talk about software that I own and use. Therefore, you will see nothing here that I do not personally own and use regularly. I use a lot of commercial and open-source software. In addition, I use apps for Windows Phone 7, Android, and my Kindles. Finally, in my How-to section, I’ll share my notes with you. When you get to be my age, it’s tough to remember how to do things once the dust has settled and you move on to something else. My strategy is to document what I do. If it’s useful to me, it might also be useful to you, so I’ll share it here.
Commercial Software Page – On this page we discuss all kinds of commercial software applications (those packages that are designed to run natively on standard computers)
Open-source Software Page – This page discusses open-source software packages, designed to run natively on standard computers
Mobile Apps Page – All things smartphone and tablet are discussed here.
Software How-to Page – If you have some of the same software I use, there are often complexities of use that I have documented and will discuss here.
