If you have Google Maps and location turned on in your smartphone, you’ll be amazed with this new Google service that will show you where you’ve been at every hour of every day. The location history is only available to you (assuming you don’t share your Google login credentials with anyone else), but is very accurate and very scary in terms of the amount of information Google has collected on your wherabouts.
To access your location history, you can link to http://maps.google.com/locationhistory.
Once you log in to it, you also have the option to turn it off (as you also do in your phone itself). Even George Orwell didn’t envision this.
Update (7/25/15): Here’s a link that shows you how to disable this: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/stop-google-from-tracking-you-on-google-maps/
